Hill Country Shrimp and Music Fest
Shrimp of all kinds, live music for all tastes and family-friendly fun is coming to the Hill Country Shrimp & Music Festival, Saturday September 21st, 2pm-10pm at the Agricultural Heritage Center in Boerne.
Enjoy a vast selection of shrimp from local food trucks while you watch and cheer-on High School Culinary Arts Students and Home Cooks as they compete in the Shrimp & Music Fest Food Challenge judged by local celebrities.
Live music from Headliner Ruben V and Sonic Radio along with other artists from various genres.
The kids will have a blast in the kids’ area, featuring magicians, face painters and fun games and activities for all ages.
Parking is free at adjacent Boerne City Park and the Kendall County Fairgrounds.
Tickets are available on EventBrite.com at: https://bit.ly/2YQLUV4. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Children under 12 are admitted free. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $100, providing access to a VIP lounge with drink tickets, snacks and private bar.
A portion of the proceeds from the Hill Country Shrimp & Music Fest will benefit Shared Beat, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that supports the health needs of the children and families living around the Guatemala City dump. Shared Beat empowers them through health and wellness care and education so they can achieve self-reliance and a positive future.
