Ottobock Fitness Revolution Please join for an adaptive fitness clinic for ALL levels, led by Brian Frasure! Fitness Clinic and Trials DATE: Saturday, January 19th LOCATION: TBD TIME: 8:30 AM - ~12:00 PM WHAT TO BRING: A towel, water, extra socks, alcohol spray WHAT TO EXPECT: This event is intended for individuals with mobility differences. You'll be exercising, primarily focusing on general balance and strengthening exercises. You are welcome to participate as little or much as you'd like. There will also be opportunities during this time to test Ottobock products. If you're interested please indicate on the order form that you would like a trial. (More information about trials in the text following.) This event will be led by Brian Frasure (Paralympic Athlete) & local physical therapists. FITNESS CLINIC SCHEDULE: 7:30 AM Volunteer arrival and set up 8:30 to 9:00 AM Packet Pick-up 9:00 to 9:20 AM Welcome and Opening Remarks 9:20 to 9:40 AM Warm up and stretching exercises 9:40 to 10:15 AM Break out into groups 10:15 to 10:30 AM Water/snack break - Remember, you can take a break at any time. 10:30 to 11:15 AM Break out into Groups 11:15 to 11:30 AM Fun relay 11:30 to 12:00 PM Stretching!!! Closing remarks and then adjourn. FITNESS TRIALS: If you are interested in testing out some of our fitness products, please indicate on the order form that you would like to trial our products. Products available for trial:ChallengerRunnerRunner JrSprinter VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY If you would like to volunteer at this event, please register for a volunteer ticket. Volunteers will be asked to do tasks such as helping with check-in, directing people, and time keeping. We are also looking for prosthetists to help with trials. About the Instructor, Brian Frasure Brian’s passion for prosthetics was ignited by his career as a Paralympic sprinter. As a ABC Certified Prosthetist, Brian has over 20 years’ experience in advanced prosthetics as a world-class amputee athlete, patient care provider, and as a bionic clinical expert. He has spent the past 14 years working with prosthetic manufacturers to advance bionic technology, most recently serving 7 years as the Director of Clinical Operations with Bionx. Brian joined ottobock in 2017 following the acquisition of Bionx Medical Technologies. There, he plans to continue his life mission of assisting other amputees in regaining their mobility, confidence and independence.
