Monday we'll have morning clouds, then sunny with a high of 95° and a max heat index of 99°. Monday night will be clear skies with a low of 74°.
Most of this week an upper-level ridge builds, so it will be hot with highs in the mid 90s. It will be humid, so the heat index values from 101° to 102° Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Heat index values may be close to advisory criteria Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 105° to 109°. The cap will be strong and this should limit any thunderstorm activity Wednesday through Sunday.
Disturbances will ride the top of the ridge and could spark off an isolated thunderstorm (10% chance) Wednesday through Sunday. Any storm that develops could be severe.
Stay hydrated! It will be hot this Memorial Day weekend with highs 95° to 100° and Heat Index values 105° to 110°
